1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website at quietudeaevs or using the services provided by Quietude, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Quietude, located at Dunhua South Road, Section 2, No. 56, Taipei 105, Taiwan.

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

• "Service" refers to the Thai massage and wellness services provided by Quietude
• "Client" or "You" refers to the individual receiving services or using our website
• "We," "Us," or "Our" refers to Quietude
• "Website" refers to quietudeaevs
• "Practitioner" refers to trained massage therapists employed by or contracted with Quietude

3. Service Description

Quietude provides traditional Thai massage and wellness services as described on our website. Our services include:

• Traditional Thai Bodywork
• Hot Stone and Thai Combination
• Signature Wellness Journey

Service descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time.

4. Eligibility and User Responsibilities

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to book and receive services independently. Minors under 18 may receive services only with parental or guardian consent and supervision.

Health Disclosures

You are responsible for disclosing any health conditions, injuries, or concerns that may affect the safety or appropriateness of massage services. This includes but is not limited to:

• Recent surgeries or injuries
• Chronic health conditions
• Pregnancy
• Skin conditions or sensitivities
• Current medications that may affect treatment

Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in inappropriate treatment and potential injury, for which we cannot be held liable.

5. Booking and Appointments

Scheduling

Appointments may be scheduled by phone, email, or through our website booking system. All appointments are subject to practitioner availability and confirmation.

Arrival

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Late arrivals may result in shortened session time to accommodate subsequent appointments, with no reduction in fee.

Cancellation Policy

We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost.

We understand that emergencies occur. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances.

6. Payment Terms

Pricing

All prices are listed in New Taiwan Dollars (TWD) and are subject to change. The price applicable to your service is the price confirmed at the time of booking.

Payment Methods

We accept cash and major credit cards. Payment is due at the time of service unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance.

Refund Policy

Services are non-refundable once rendered. If you are dissatisfied with your service, please speak with management immediately so we can address your concerns.

7. Code of Conduct

We maintain a professional, respectful environment. Clients are expected to:

• Treat practitioners and staff with respect
• Maintain appropriate behavior during sessions
• Respect the privacy and comfort of other clients
• Follow practitioner instructions regarding positioning and movement

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a session without refund if a client's behavior is inappropriate, threatening, or makes practitioners or staff uncomfortable.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

Not Medical Treatment

Thai massage services are wellness treatments, not medical care. They do not replace professional medical diagnosis or treatment. We do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe medications.

Service Provided "As Is"

Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to provide high-quality therapeutic services, individual results may vary, and we do not guarantee specific outcomes.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Taiwan law, Quietude's liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing and warrant that all data provided is accurate.

We maintain client records in accordance with Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act and applicable healthcare record retention requirements.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Quietude and protected by Taiwan and international copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our website content without express written permission.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Taiwan. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Taipei, Taiwan.

Informal Resolution

In the event of any dispute, we encourage you to contact us first to seek an informal resolution. We are committed to addressing concerns promptly and fairly.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quietude, its practitioners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, breach of these terms, or violation of any law or rights of a third party.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website with an updated "Effective Date."

Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically.
